Water Fitness Classes

Aqua ~ Stretch & Flex
This 30 minute class is a great follow up after the Deep Plunge. It will include stretches on the Deep end and conclude in the shallow end of the pool w/ relaxation.

Warm Waves
Shallow water class allows the water to provide additional resistance and less impact allowing you to strengthen and tone your body to its fullest potential, 60 minutes.

Intense-Shallow
This total body workout combines traditional exercise movements with the natural resistance of the water to toughen up the muscles while remaining gentle on the joints. High energy class to start your day right uses weights to create lean muscles as the class cools down, 60 minutes.

Yoqua (Aquatic Yoga)
30 minute shallow water class. Water adds a new dimension to range of motion in this relaxation class. Focus is on breathing techniques, core strength, and flexibility.

Deep Plunge & DWR(deep water running)
45-60 minute class allows participants to move freely on all 3 planes of motion creating a total body workout, muscle balance, and a substantial challenge for the core muscles without impact stress to the joints. (Flotation Belts provided)

Finning
Designed to work primarily abdominals, quads, guts& hamstring: the large muscles, in order to get the most out of the class. (45 minute, Fins provided, Class held in lap lane of indoor pool)

Cool Run
(60 minute class) forget the shoes and bring your swim suit! Workout without the sweat, designed for all ages (12 w/ parent permission and up) flotation belt will be provided. This class improves your core muscle strength while giving you a great cardio workout!

Shallow Work Out
60 minute class of instructors choice, performed in the vertical position in a water depth of waist to chest level. Lower impact than land-based training, but joint loading does occur. (Moderate to high intensity, shoes recommended)

Ai Chi
30 minute class combines deep breathing, relaxation, and slow, broad movements of the arms, legs and torso. The movements will improve range of motion and overall mobility.

Aqua Noodle
60 minute class in the pool designed around you and your noodle! Great for strengthening and minimizing impact to your joints.

Aqua Balls & Bands (Aqua B&B)
Used in the pool to mimic exercises done on the land that strengthens muscles. The support of the water decreases the effects of gravity, and the resistance of the water enhances the resistance of the bands for a great power boost.

Aqua Boot Camp Plus (ABC)
45 minutes plus 15 minutes cool down & stretch Designed for fit individuals to workout in the pool. Taught with circuit training principles using a variety of equipment (steps/hand buoys/noodles/bands etc.).

Power Plunge
Dump the treadmill and come join our Power Plunge class this is a deep water 60 minute class. Resistance will be added to increase intensity and build muscle. Flotation belt provided.

Aqua Cycle
60 minute class using a flotation device while pumping your legs in the traditional cycle circle pattern w/ slight variations for resistance and stretching this is an awesome workout!

Instructor Choice
60 minute class designed for the fit, moderate to advanced individual. The class uses different equipment and some deck exercises, at the instructor’s choice! A great class!
